Meet Preety Kumar, a key member of Compass Facilities’ portfolio management team. Preety holds a Master of Science in Finance from Portland State University and joined Compass in September 2024. She is the quintessential Renaissance woman – fluent in three languages, has worked in the tech industry for over a decade, and has taught Bollywood dance! Preety and her husband are parents to two little ones (a daughter and a son) who keep them on their toes.
Preety is adept with project management tools, which helps her excel in her role. She values transparency and an ethical work environment, which is what she appreciates about working with her colleagues at Compass. Preety said, “What motivates me to give my best every day is the amazing and supportive team we have at Compass. Knowing I am part of a group that’s aligned and encouraging makes it easier to show up and stay focused on adding value for our clients. It’s also reassuring to know that, in case of any family emergencies, I’ll have the support I need – both professionally and personally.”
The Kumars love traveling, going to parks, and hiking. Preety enjoys cooking watching movies, staying fit, and dancing. She says the fun mix is what helps her unwind and stay energized.
